Wells Insurance is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and computer-proficient Agency Payables Associate, located in Wilmington, NC. Most important to us is that you are a solid team member who can facilitate positive and productive client experiences.

• Associates Degree in Accounting
• 2 – 4 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with both internal and external clients
• Proficient processing AP and credit card transactions
• Strong reconciliations skills
• Experience preparing and filing sales tax returns
• Ability to work as a team member
• Must have exceptional time management skills, be organized. and detail-oriented
• Must pass a background check

• Experience in the Insurance industry
• Experience in reporting and filing surplus line taxes
• Experience with the Applied EPIC agency management system
• Someone who is inquisitive and excited to learn
• That you are open to change and flexiblity
