Wells Insurance is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and computer proficient Employee Benefits Specialist for the Benefits Division in the Wilmington Office.  This will be an in-office position.

 

Wells Insurance is one of the largest and most established insurance agencies in North Carolina. Currently representing A+ rated regional and national carriers and providing coverage to individuals and corporations in 48 states.

Job Requirements

  • Valid North Carolina Life & Health insurance license
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Employee Benefits insurance
  • Leadership and training experience
  • Enrollment experience – process new enrollments and terminations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – highly proficient in Excel
  • Possess above average computer skills and the ability to work on multiple screens
  • Experience preparing proposals for clients
  • Professional communication skills
  • Knowledge & ability to market, retain, and service customers
  • Manage an assigned book of business and adhere to renewal timelines
  • Be a positive and dynamic team member
  • Must have exceptional time management skills and be organized and detail-oriented
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must have a valid NC driver’s license & transportation

Preferred Qualities

  • College Degree
  • Current experience with Applied Systems EPIC program
  • Med Supplement insurance license
  • Inquisitive and excited to learn
  • Love change and be flexible!
  • Sense of humor
