Summer is a time when families who struggle to put food on the table have an especially difficult time, and children often are particularly hungry since they are not getting meals at school. We decided to do an activity that was meant to help others less fortunate AND foster teamwork across our divisions.

In May, we chose to hold a food drive to help stock the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. A teambuilding event was made out of it, with the challenge of designing and building a structure out of the donated food items. The only rules were that it had to fit within a 5 x 5 foot area.
