At Wells, we recognize it is our responsibility to restore and protect the environment we rely on. On Saturday, June 5th, we chose to revive our community on World Environment Day by performing a beach cleanup on Wrightsville Beach, NC.
We strive to stay involved with our community by volunteering our time and resources. Our team invests in making our communities stronger, healthier, and more vibrant. We started our cleanup efforts at Johnnie Mercer’s Pier and walked up and down the beach picking up trash in the dunes and along the water. We even found sea glass and a pretty big shark tooth while picking up trash!
We are thankful to our staff who woke up early on their day off to go do something good for the environment. We know how important our environment is, especially living so close to the coast.
